Realty, oh I hate that word but that conversation is for another day.
Well I’m back! My wife and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary as well as her recent passing of the CA BAR exam with a trip to Europe. We had 24 amazing days starting in London. A brief overview of our trip. London, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Monaco, Florence Pisa, Rome, Olbia, Venice, Messina & Croatia. We did 12 days on our own and 12 days aboard the wonderful brand new Carnival Breeze. Have any of you been on a cruise before? Yes they are not for everyone but everyone should give it a try at least once. We picked this ship because of the great Mediterranean itinerary. An added bonus was the fact that my favorite cruise director John Heald would be the cruise director for this cruise. He is Carnival’s senior cruise director and brand ambassador. He is great. Please take a look at the video below of our Welcome Aboard Show. I have a LOT of video from our trip so please feel free to follow our journey as I upload a few videos over the next few weeks. You can follow us on YouTube HERE.
Check out John’s Blog for an interesting perspective of what it is like working on a boat as a cruise director or follow him on Facebook.
Here is the Jonh Heald video I made during the Welcome Aboard Show
When I was younger, about 10 years I gave some serious thought to the idea of working on the seas. Even today I wonder how things may have been different if I did do that. I know working on a boat would not be the same as vacationing on one but there is something that draws me to the water. I really love being out in the middle of the ocean. Maybe I should have joined the Navy???
I am sitting here writing this in my shorts hoping the San Diego summer will last forever. I really hate it when it gets dark early and we can’t enjoy the Summer heat. I know, I know. Winters in San Diego are a joke. We really don’t have a true Winter but I really enjoy the weather here. I am very lucky to live in such a wonderful place like San Diego. I was talking to a great guy from the UK who told me his summer consisted of 3 days of sun and that it had been overcast up until he left for the cruise. What a bummer to live in an area with no sun. I would imagine it would be depressing even suicidal?
So what’s happening in real estate? We have time for that later. I will leave you with a few of my favorite photos from our trip.
