San Diego

Annual Big Bay Boom July 4 Fireworks Show

Location: Multiple Locations along San Diego Bay 	 San Diego 4th of July 2018 Fireworks and Celebrations Schedule
Time/Price: 9:00 PM – FREE

The big one! The Big Bay Boom is the focal point of 4th of July festivities in San Diego. Fireworks will be launched from four barges on Diego Bay and can be seen from Shelter Island to Coronado Landing and everywhere in between.


Sea to Shining Sea 4th of July Fireworks

Location: SeaWorld San Diego
Time/Price: Fireworks start at 9:30 PM – Fireworks seating starts at $15

SeaWorld is celebrating the 4th of July with a special extended presentation of the “Sea to Shining Sea 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular.”


Ocean Beach 4th of July Fireworks

Location: Ocean Beach Pier at the end of Newport Ave.
Time/Price: 9:00 PM – FREE

Bundle up by the beach with your loved one and get ready for a magnificent fireworks display launched from Ocean Beach Pier.


Historic Old Town 4th of July

Location: Old Town State Historic Park

Time/Price: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM – FREE

Enjoy an old-fashioned Fourth of July with this unique event where where Old Town San Diego State Historic Park park staff and volunteers recreate how early San Diego residents would have celebrated their Independence Day. Activities include living history presentations, music, dance, demonstrations, games, period clothing and more. (No Fireworks)





Coronado Independence Day Celebration

Location: Various Locations on Coronado

Time/Price: 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM – FREE

4th of July celebrations in Coronado kick off with the Crown City Classic 12km fun-run starting at 7:00am at Tidelands Park followed by Art in the Park at Spreckels Park at 8:00-9:00am and the annual Rough Water swim at 9:00am

The Coronado Annual Independence Day Parade starts at Orange Ave in 10:00am followed with more events at Spreckels park in the afternoon, including a concert that starts at 4:00pm. Finally the festivities end with a bang with Fireworks over Glorietta Bay at 9:00pm.




North Coastal

San Diego County Fair 4th of July Celebration

Location: Del Mar Fairgrounds – 2260 Jimmy Durante Boulevard, Del Mar, CA 92014

Time/Price: Starts at 9:30 AM, Fireworks at 9:00 PM – Tickets $19 for adults, $9 for seniors and under-12’s

The San Diego County Fair celebrates the nation’s birthday with a jampacked day of fun for the whole family topped off by the traditional fireworks display 9:00PM. Activities include contests, pro-wrestling matches, the Hometown Heroes Parade, guest speakers, comedy shows and more!


Red, White and BOOM!

Location: LEGOLAND California – One Legoland Drive, Carlsbad, CA 92008

Time/Price: All day event, fireworks at 8:30 PM – Day Pass tickets start at $87

Independence Day fun at Legoland California. Activities for kids include water balloon toss, sack races and LEGO blocks building as well as live musical performances. 8:30 p.m. fireworks set to patriotic music. Activities included with admission to the park.


Rancho Santa Fe’s Annual 4th of July Parade & Picnic

Location: 16948 Avenida de Acacias, Rancho Santa Fe, CA 92091

Time/Price: 1:00 to 3:00 PM – FREE

Rancho Santa Fe kicks off its Annual 4th of July Parade & Picnic event with with live music, food and fun. Attractions include: parade floats, clowns, face painting, fire trucks and vintage cars, picnic and a concert. (No Fireworks)


City of Oceanside Fireworks Show

Location: North of the El Corazon Senior Center, located at 3302 Senior Center Drive.

Date: July 3, 2018

Time/Price: Fireworks start at 9:00pm – FREE

Oceanside Independence Day festivities start a day early with music, food trucks and a fireworks show from 6:00pm – 9:00pm on the 3rd of July. More events as planned for 4th of July such as the Yankee Doodle Dinghy Parade at the Oceanside Yacht Club.




North Inland

Independence Day Festival & Fireworks

Location: California Center for the Arts, Escondido – 340 N. Escondido Blvd., Escondido, CA 92025

Time/Price: Starts at 4:00pm, Fireworks at 9:00pm – FREE

Free community event with live music. food vendors, and children’s activities and games. Festivities conclude with a special performance by Camp Pendleton’s 1st Marine Division Band and a stunning fireworks display!



Mira Mesa Fourth of July Celebration

Location: Mira Mesa Community Park, Mira Mesa Boulevard and New Salem Street, Mira Mesa

Time/Price: Fireworks at 9:00pm – FREE

The annual Mira Mesa 4th of July Parade and Family Fun Day in the Park is back for its 42nd year. Festivities being at 8:00am with a Pancake Breakfast at the Mira Mesa Senior Center followed by the Family Fun Day in the Park opens at 11:00 AM with food vendors and entertainment. The annual 4th of July Parade steps off at 11:30 AM from the corner of Mira Mesa Blvd and Greenford Drive, traveling down Mira Mesa Blvd to Camino Ruiz. Family Fun Day continues until 9:00 PM, and the Park provides a front row seat for the Fireworks Extravaganza.


An Old Fashioned Fourth of July and Fireworks

Location: Poway High School Stadium – 15500 Espola Road, Poway, CA 92064

Time/Price: 7:00pm to 10:00pm, fireworks at 9pm – Suggested $5 donation entrance fee, free for kids under 11

Bring your family and friends to Old Poway Park and celebrate our country’s independence “turn-of-the-20th-century-style”. This event will feature patriotic entertainment, gun fighting re-enactments, free crafts, and old-fashioned games. Tasty treats and train rides will be available for a nominal fee.


Rancho Bernardo’s The Spirit of the Fourth

Location: Webb Park – Avena Pl And Bernardo Center Dr, Rancho Bernardo, CA 92128

Time/Price: 7:00am to 9:30pm, fireworks at 9:00pm – FREE

Event begins at 9 a.m. with Wheels of Freedom Classic Motor Show at Webb Park, Avena Place and Bernardo Center Drive. A ceremony commemorating those who have served the country in the Armed Services is 10:45 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Site. Festivities include patriotic pet parade and contest, magic show, games, including rubber ducky race and food vendors. Independence Day Parade begins at 3:30 p.m. Entertainment at Bernardo Heights Middle School athletic field, 12990 Lucido, kicks off at 6:30 p.m. followed by a fireworks show, “Sky Concert” at 9 p.m.


San Marcos 4th of July Celebration

Location: Bradley Park – 465 S Rancho Santa Fe Rd, San Marcos, CA 92078

Time/Price: 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Fireworks at 9pm – FREE

Festivities kick off 6 p.m. July 4 at Bradley Park, 1587 Linda Vista Drive. Entertainment features children’s activities along with food concessions.


Scripps Ranch 4th of July Parade

Location: Scripps Ranch Hoyt Park – 10800 Canyon Lake Dr, San Diego, CA 92131

Time/Price: 10:00am to 1:00pm – FREE

As a spectator you can cheer on everyone who is in the parade. But, why not dress up as well and join in the fun? (No Fireworks)


Vista Independence Day Celebration

Location: Moonlight Amphitheatre – 1200 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista, CA 92084

Time/Price: 5:00pm to 9:00pm, fireworks at 9:00pm – Admission $5 per adult, free for children, free for active and retired military and their families

Celebrate the 4th of July in Vista at the Moonlight Amphitheatre with live music, an honorary ceremony, family fun and fireworks!




East County

El Cajon 4th of July Picnic and Fireworks

Location: Kennedy Park – 1675 East Madison Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92019

Time/Price: 1:00pm to 9:30pm, fireworks at 9:00pm – FREE

The City July 4th event starts at 1:00 p.m. with food, games, prizes, kiddie train rides and more! Live musical entertainment begins at 3:00 p.m. and fireworks at 9:00 p.m. Kennedy Park is located at 1675 E. Madison Avenue. Arrive early for parking to find the best spot for your picnic and to view the fireworks!


Julian 4th of July Parade

Location: Main Street, Julian, CA 92036

Time/Price: 10:00am to 4:00pm – FREE

Julian presents a homegrown event that celebrates the town’s gold rush era history, the dedication of veterans and active duty military who serve our country, and local residents who cherish the special qualities of the little town tucked into the Cuyamaca Mountains east of San Diego. (no fireworks)


Santee Salutes

Location: Town Center Community Park East – 550 Park Center Drive, Santee, CA 92071

Rock out with live music, a patriotic ceremony, kid’s fun zone and a spectacular fireworks display at Santee Salutes!


Ramona Rotary Community Fireworks and Family Picnic

It’s an unforgettable experience when the skies over Ramona explode with color during the annual Ramona Rotary Community Fireworks and Family Picnic on July 4. Old Glory proudly waves, as residents take time to celebrate the Independence Day holiday. The event will feature food vendors, DJ music, and games and activities for children, welcoming several thousand residents who will enjoy relaxing with family, friends and neighbors.




South Bay

Chula Vista 4th Fest

Fourth of July fireworks are back in Chula Vista! Free July 4th fireworks at the U.S. Olympic Training Center, set to a custom soundtrack.


National City’s 4th of July Carnival

The National City Host Lions Club invite you to celebrate the 4th of July with a weekend long carnival complete with rides, games, food, fun and fireworks on the 4th of July at 9:00pm!


Independence Day Fireworks in Imperial Beach
