Boulevard is a city many people drive by on Interstate 8 but don’t take much notice to. Boulevard has a little less than 1500 people and is about 40 miles west of El Centro. This small city in the Eastern San Diego area is growing steadily and is home to many types of the ranch house and small family homes. Boulevard has a great location for those that don’t want to be too far from San Diego proper but want to enjoy a relaxed country atmosphere.
Boulevard is along the Mexican border and very close to towns like Jacumba and Tierra Del Sol. Many people have decided to call Boulevard home to escape the busy lifestyle of the city. Since it is still a relatively short commute, it is easy to live in Boulevard and work anywhere in San Diego. The costs of buying property in Boulevard are very reasonable due to the low population at the moment. This is increasing as tourists are starting to frequent Boulevard more and more with the recent opening of the La Posta Casino. This might make Boulevard a nice place to consider purchasing an investment property.
Boulevard is not far from many different activities for the entire family. It is just a short trip to reach the beautiful Pacific Ocean and a shorter trip to take a nice little automobile tour of the nearby mountains. This easy access to many types of terrain makes Boulevard a very nice place to live.
